Learn as a foreigner from a person having had the same problems as you at the moment. My name is Rainer Schlagenhaufer. After having learned English, French, Spanish and Russian I studied something totally different which is Hungarian at a Hungarian university. Now having lived in this country for the last 22 years I’m absolutely able to appreciate for example literature by “Kertész Imre”. How to learn Hungarian? This is not always very easy, especially if this new language is totally different from your own mother tongue or from those you have already learned as its structure works otherwise. In Hungarian there is: no passiv                                         only one past tense                                         no verbal phrases But naturally there are other things not existing in western European languages.
